The Wounded Warrior Project is visiting ASU! Stop by the VETS Center and meet some of the WWP representatives!

The Veterans Educational and Transitional Services (VETS) Center will host a presentation by the Wounded Warrior Project on Thursday, Sept. 4, in the VETS Center, Room 113 of the Houston Harte University Center.

The event will begin at noon and is open free to the public. Representatives of the Wounded Warrior Project will present information on available programs, including readjustment and transition, combat stress recovery, physical health and wellness, long-term support initiatives, employment and engagement. All veterans of the post-9/11 era and their families are encouraged to attend.

The Wounded Warrior Project serves veterans and active military service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness or wound co-incident to their military service on or after Sept. 11, 2001, and their families. This will be the second visit that project representatives have made to ASU to promote their programs and recruit wounded veterans.

For more information, contact the VETS Center at 325-486-VETS (8387). Details on the VETS Center and its available programs can be found at www.angelo.edu/dept/veterans/.
