Want to learn how to be a more visible and supportive resource for the campus LGBTQ+ community?

Training sessions will include:

  • Safe Zone: you may have seen a sign that indicates that a person is a “safe space” or has been “safe zone trained.” These signs mean that a person is open to talking about and being supportive of LGBQ+ individuals and identities.

  • The role of an Ally: An “Ally” is a person who strives to end the discrimination of the oppressed population in their personal and professional life by being an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.

  • Current LGBTQ+ issues in higher education
