Forged Paint 06 "Forged Paint 06" In his “Forged Paint” exhibit, Hill entertains the idea of a visual vocabulary that is carefully formed by the use of natural elements and hard-lined geometry. It includes works developed over the last five years for his “Bluestem” series and new work in his “Forged Paint” series. Works in the new series feature his graphic language and style executed by the reductive use of spray paint.

A native of Midland, Hill is affiliated with Fort Works Fine Art in Fort Worth and Joseph Gierek Fine Art in Tulsa, Okla. He has made solo and group exhibitions of his paintings throughout Texas and has presented juried exhibitions in Texas, several other states, Germany and Russia. He is a member of the Texas Artist Coalition, U.S. General Services Administration’s Art in Architecture Program and U.S. State Department’s Art in Embassies Program.

In addition to his work as a painter, Hill is also an architect and associate principal at Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford Architects in Fort Worth. He holds a professional architecture degree from Texas Tech University.
