The program will include “The Blue Danube” by Johann Strauss, one of the most famous waltzes ever written, and Katherine Hoover’s “Celebration,” an arrangement of bytes from several well-known pieces for flute. The Flute Choir will also perform “Air” from J.S. Bach’s “Suite in D Major,” the Overture to Mozart’s “Marriage of Figaro” and the novelty piece “Serendipity” by Ann Cameron Pearce.

The Flute Choir is open to all students, regardless of their academic major, and regularly performs with the ASU Woodwind Quintet and in community outreach efforts. Performers for the spring concert include current and prospective ASU student musicians Rebekah Cook, Thalia Hernandez, Miki Roche, Christina DeForest, Jade Rocha, Gage Kelling, Trystian Galindo, Jisoo Lim and Monica Perales.
