Planetarium: “Stars of the Pharaohs”

The ASU Planetarium will present the full-dome astronomy show “Stars of the Pharaohs” at 7 p.m. on Thursdays, March 22 - May 10, in the Vincent Building, 2333 Vanderventer St.

“Stars of the Pharaohs” takes audiences on a journey to ancient Egypt to see how science was used to tell time, make a workable calendar and align huge buildings.

Audiences will learn about the connection the ancient Egyptians felt with the stars and various astronomical phenomena, and will experience some of the most spectacular temples and tombs of the ancient world recreated in their entire original splendor.
