The ASU production features all the g reat scenes from the book\, including the Christmas scene when the girls spend their Christmas money on presents for their mother. The structure o f the play faithfully covers that of the novel\, interweaving the lives o f the March girls and Laurie\, the boy next door\, as they grow up happil y together\; yet the action is contained neatly in one set. All the overt ones of gaiety and undertones of sadness are there\, bringing the story c ompletely to life in a way that is both accurate and dramatically satisfy ing. Tickets go on sale for Arts at ASU subscribers on Monday\, Nov. 14\ , at the ASU box office in the EFA Building. Ticket sales open to the gen eral public on Nov. 16.
