This ability\, however\, gets in the way of every relationship he has ever at tempted. Sky is a quirky friend of the family who takes an interest in La ndon\, but has no idea of the family's strange talent. Along the way\, Sk y is introduced to philosopher Immanuel Kant\, John Wayne\, Tupac Shakur and many others. She is also plunged into a crisis involving a missing so ck\, an argument about why chess is not the ultimate test of human intell igence\, and the challenge of being attracted to someone who is convinced that being in love is equivalent to the moon turning upside down.
