Jaime has been in the cooling and heating business for years working for various companies. Jaime grew tired of making these companies money when he thought he could do it himself. He felt at this time in his life it would be a good time to start his own small business.

Jaime was recommended to meet with Advisor Paul Howard of the Angelo State University - Small Business Center by a former client. Jaime met with Paul and he advised Jaime to determine what his start up costs would be and to begin developing a business plan. Jaime would not need financial assistance but he realized he needed direction and took Paul’s advice. Jaime said, “ASU provided me with a business plan outline. Mr. Howard was very professional and knowledgeable.”

Jaime started JCS Cooling & Heating as a sole proprietorship with plans to hire employees in the very near future. Jaime is a good example of a true entrepreneur. His spirit created a small business with one employee for the San Angelo economy.
