Qualifications/Duties
Maintain and Support existing internal application (Most Web-based). Extend existing applications and as well as develop new solutions based on requirements.
Required Experience and Knowledge: Programming experience in one or more (preferably more) programming languages. Web Development skills utilizing XHTML, CSS, and Javascript. Experience with the Linux operating system but also know your way around Windows. Ability to read/create SQL query statements and experience administering rational database servers. Demonstration of software you have created speaks volumes.
Desired Experience and Knowledge: Preferred Programming Languages in order: Javascript; PHP; C/C++; Java; Objective-C.
Experience with any or all of the following: MySQL Server; Apache Web Server; Oracle 9/10G; Oracle Application Express; Software/User Interface Design; Ability to read and understand UML diagrams; Knowledge of MVC and other design patterns or Mobile Application Development.
