Acrylic Artist to Exhibit Works at ASU

Angelo State University will present an exhibit of acrylic artwork by Virginia-based artist Sarah Irvin Jan. 18-Feb. 22, in the Carr Education-Fine Arts (EFA) Building, 2602 Dena Drive. 

Irvin’s exhibit, titled “Shady Grove,” will feature her delicate and distinctive acrylic paintings on public display from 9 a.m. 5 p.m. weekdays in Room 193 of the EFA Building.  Irvin will also present a gallery talk on her work at 4 p.m. on Feb. 22 in Room 101 of the EFA Building.  Both the exhibit and the lecture are open free to the public. 

An emerging artist, Irvin earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting and drawing from the University of Georgia.  Her work has been exhibited in Texas, Virginia and Georgia.  She is the corporate art program coordinator for Capital One.
