ASU to Host Teacher Job Fair

Representatives of more than 30 school districts and education employers located throughout Texas and New Mexico will gather at Angelo State University for its annual Teacher Job Fair on Wednesday, March 28, in the Junell Center/Stephens Arena, 2235 S. Jackson St. 

The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon, and is open to ASU students who are set to graduate in May with teacher certification, as well as any current certified teachers seeking employment or considering relocation. 

Scheduled to attend are representatives of school districts in San Angelo, Amarillo, Arlington, Big Spring, Brownfield, Bryan, Cherokee, Christoval, Crockett County, Denton, Ector County, Fort Stockton, Granbury, Hereford, Killeen, Lamesa, Lubbock, Marlin, McCamey, Mesquite, Midland, Pecos/Barstow/Toyah, San Felipe/Del Rio, San Saba, Schleicher County, Seminole, Wylie and Hobbs, N.M.  ASU’s education graduate programs, the North Texas Teacher Job Network, Region 17 Education Service Center and Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired will also be represented.
