Psych Online Grad Program Ranked No. 1 ‘Best Buy’

Criteria for the ranking consisted entirely of each program’s total cost of tuition and fees for full-time online graduate students. Seventy online psychology master’s degree programs at 40 regionally accredited colleges and universities were compared to formulate the Best Buy rankings. 

“Students are facing rising tuition costs,” said Tony Huffman, president of GetEducated.com. “Our research and analysis provides degree-specific information across all institutions offering online master’s in psychology degrees so students can Get Educated before they enroll.” 

Angelo State’s M.S. in applied psychology program requires 36 credit hours and can be completed totally online or in a hybrid online/classroom format. An undergraduate degree in psychology is not required for admission to the program. 

The ASU program was one of three at Texas schools to make the GetEducated.com rankings list, along with LeTourneau University (No. 15) and the University of Houston-Victoria (19).
