“Adriana was amazing! She helped us through the whole process of starting our business licenses, permits, etc. I mean everything! Also, she worked with us multiple times to understand Quickbooks.”

Leonora and Denton Weimer are based in San Angelo, TX and decided that they wanted to share a little of their home state of Maine wicked good food with Texans.

Their idea started after many of their friends complimented their cooking style and Leonora decided to take it outside of her kitchen and buy a mobile food truck to do so. Before they started with the paperwork necessary to establish the business they decided to visit with SBDC advisor Havins to make sure they cover all the paperwork needed to start the business.

From city and food permits, the menu and bookkeeping adviser Havins had the opportunity to work with Leonora and Denton to make sure their idea of having their own business with come to fruition.

Owners expressed their experience with the SBDC services by sharing the following: “Adriana was amazing! She helped us through the whole process of starting our business licenses, permits, etc. I mean everything! Also, she worked with us multiple times to understand Quickbooks.”
