New Sections Added for Summer and Fall

For this summer, new sections have been added in Summer I for English 2324: Readings in American Literature and Spanish 1302 and 2312.  Plus, new French Intensive courses in Summer II. 

And for Fall 2012 additional sections of German, French, and Spanish, including Spanish 3301 and 3314.

    On Tuesday evening, our local chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the English honor society, inducted fifteen new members.
  • On November 2nd, Dr. Jules Gates, associate professor of English, presented her creative nonfiction poem “From His Coy Mistress” on a panel with two other creative nonfiction writers at the 2015 South Central Modern Language Conference (SCMLA) in Nashville, Tennessee.

  • Dr. Chris Ellery, a professor of English in Angelo State University’s Department of English and Modern Languages, has won first prize in the eighth biennial X.J. Kennedy Award for Creative Nonfiction administered by Rosebud Magazine.
