ASU Jazz Combo to Perform Concert

Angelo State University’s Jazz Combo will perform in concert on Friday, April 15, in the Carr Education-Fine Arts Building (EFA), 2602 Dena Drive.

The 7:30 p.m. concert will be in the EFA Building’s Eldon Black Recital Hall and is open free to the public.

Music on the program will include pieces by Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Michael Brecker, Pat Metheny, Louis Armstrong, Rodgers and Hart, Oliver Nelson, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Earle Hagen and Loran McClung.

Dr. Tim Bonenfant, Jazz Combo director and assistant professor of music, arranged six of the 10 pieces, and the combo members arranged another one.
