Kornasky Article in Too Bold for the Box Office

Dr. Linda Kornasky, professor of English, has recently had her article “Polka Settles the Score in The Schmenges: The Last Polka.” included in Too Bold for the Box Office: The Mockumentary from Big Screen to Small, edited by  Cynthia J. Miller and published by Scarecrow Press.

    On Tuesday evening, our local chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the English honor society, inducted fifteen new members.
  • On November 2nd, Dr. Jules Gates, associate professor of English, presented her creative nonfiction poem “From His Coy Mistress” on a panel with two other creative nonfiction writers at the 2015 South Central Modern Language Conference (SCMLA) in Nashville, Tennessee.

  • Dr. Chris Ellery, a professor of English in Angelo State University’s Department of English and Modern Languages, has won first prize in the eighth biennial X.J. Kennedy Award for Creative Nonfiction administered by Rosebud Magazine.
