McIntyre DOT Safety Consultants |  “I had several questions and was nervous about several aspects of my business.  Our meeting with Mr. Howard answered those questions and gave us peace of mind to move forward.  His advice also saved us cost in certain software that was also appreciated.”

David was very close to retirement after 30 years of service with the Department of Public Safety.  He was a consultant and enforcer and is certified in that field.  David was not ready to totally retire so he thought he would use his expertise as a private consultant.  He was unsure how to proceed with this venture so he met with Advisor Paul Howard of the Angelo State University · Small Business Development Center.  Paul discussed how to obtain a sales tax permit with David and information on QuickBooks as David’s daughter will be keeping records for him.  David says, “I had several questions and was nervous about several aspects of my business.  Our meeting with Mr. Howard answered those questions and gave us peace of mind to move forward.  His advice also saved us cost in certain software that was also appreciated.”

McIntyre DOT Safety Consultants is available to consult with trucking companies on the rules and regulations of the Department of Transportation.  The business created one job for the local economy.
