Community Flute Choir to Begin Rehearsals at ASU

September 07, 2011

The Concho Valley Community Flute Choir (CVCFC), directed by Dr. Constance Kelley, Angelo State University assistant professor of music, will begin preparations for its fall season on Sunday, Sept. 11, on the ASU campus.

The CVCFC is open to any adult who plays the flute. Its first meeting/reading rehearsal will be held from 2:30-4 p.m. Sept. 11 in the Band Hall in the ASU Carr Education-Fine Arts Building, 2602 Dena Drive.

Kelley helped form the CVCFC in 2009 to promote the art of flute playing and the performance of flute music. Members perform several community concerts each season.

For more information, contact Kelley at 325-942-2085 or connie.kelley@angelo.edu.
