This one’s PERFECT!

“I bet this one will match!” – Finally, Joanne Heady with Serenity Quilts of Many Colors, has enough room in her new building.  She built a new building which fronts TX Hwy 87 and expanded her business!  The new, big, red building located on the SW corner is hard to miss!

Finally, Joanne Heady with Serenity Quilts of Many Colors, has enough room in her new building.  She built a new building which fronts TX Hwy 87 and expanded her business!  The new, big, red building located on the SW corner is hard to miss!

“I wanted a location which was inviting to both travelers and local customers.  The front porch, which spans the entire length of the building, is filled with rocking chairs.  It’s an invitation to anyone to stop for a bit and relax.”  Joanne said.

The increase in floor space from her old location really has provided the opportunity for more fabric choices and more “hands on” sewing machines.

Joanne is appreciative of the assistance from the Angelo State University Small Business Development Center and advisor Peggy Rosser.  “Peggy is very helpful in helping me learn ways to improve my business.” Joann commented.

The increase in traffic visiting Serenity Quilts of Many Colors definitely indicates that the move was a good decision.  “If during the time I spend here at the store I am able to turn one soul to Christ, then my purpose has been fulfilled.” Joanne said.

The larger store has contributed to the economic base of Brady and plans are to hire one more full-time person besides the owner, Joanne Heady.
