Bender, Dalrymple, Rhea Attend Langdon Weekend

At the recent Langdon Review Literary Weekend, in Granbury, Texas, September 4-7, 2013, two of Dr. Dalrymple’s Spring 2013 Fiction Writing Workshop students read their original short fiction. Kiah Rhea (right) read her story “My Boys,” and Linda Bender (left) read her story “Produce Department.”    

Dr. Terry Dalrymple, professor of English, also presented at the conference–a talk/reading titled “Minor into Major: How another Writer’s Secondary Character becomes My Protagonist” for a panel about the new book  A Shared Voice, which contains his story “Nasty Things.”

Pickering Undergraduate Foreign Affairs Fellowship, which will provide up to $40,000 per year for graduate studies, as well as summer internship opportunities and a  guaranteed appointment as a Foreign Service Officer upon completion of her master’s degree.
