Qualifications/Duties

Work with at-risk teen girls in the San Angelo Independent School District to promote high school graduation rates. The Customized Programs Specialist – SISTERS is responsible for development, implementation and evaluation girl program through the SISTERS Program. The program will begin with girls in 6th grade and will continue each year adding an additional grade to finally mentor girls from 6th – 12th grades. Will develop appropriate programming to reflect girls’ needs and report measurable outcomes with the ultimate outcome of keeping girls in school to graduate from high school. 

High school diploma or equivalent
•Possess excellent computer, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
•Ability to multitask
•Willingness to work with a flexible schedule including periodic evenings, weekends, and/or summer.
•Ability to relate well with people from a variety of economic and ethnic backgrounds.
•Effective oral and written communication skills.
•Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
•Reliable transportation and phone.
•Willingness to travel around assigned area
•Some Girl Scout experience preferred.
•Ability to make a commitment to the philosophy of Girl Scouts, both nationally and locally

Days/Times

M-F Various hours (Mostly Mornings)

$10/hr
