New Business Leadership Class

January 24, 2014

There is a new class being offered this spring semester that will help students connect with local business leaders and learn leadership skills through real world experience.

Some students may have taken a leadership course before, but they have not had a capstone leadership experience like this one. In this course you will develop a personal mission statement while engaging in networking practices.  All while applying self-management and leadership practices. Students will learn why personal brand management and the presentation of your resume are important for today’s business leaders.

Local business leaders have conveyed the importance of this style of leadership training. Principled leadership training offered in this course will give students a true competitive advantage in today’s market place.

The course was originally created by and taught at Texas State University. Bill Poston and Reagan Pugh from Kalypso (a global consulting firm focused on innovation, product development and product life-cycle management) will travel to San Angelo weekly to teach the spring session while ASU faculty shadow them.
