Business Services Assistant

Qualifications/Duties

Will work closely with Scheduling Coordinator and other Business Services professional staff. Position requires an individual with attention to detail, strong communication skills, and computer skills. Applicant must be self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively. Qualifications include: • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook • Ability to multi-task and work independently or in a group • Ability to create and maintain accurate records, files, and spreadsheets • Basic accounting skills • Ability to complete tasks with little supervision Duties and responsibilities include: 1. Organize and maintain document files 2. Track expense activity and reconcile monthly 3. Maintain financial spreadsheets and generate reports 4. Maintain filing and general organization of documents 5. Assist with greeting of students, faculty, staff, and community customers by phone and in person 6. Assist Business Services professional staff with other clerical duties as assigned 7. Assist Special Events staff with basic reservations.

Days/Times

Position availability: Monday, Wednesday, Friday between 8:00 am-1:00 pm or Tuesday, Thursday between 8 am and 3:30 pm with the expectation to work 8-12 hours per week. Can be flexible around class schedule within those allotted hours. Schedule needs may change during the semester.

Salary

$7.50/hr
