ASU Art Exhibit to Feature Midland Sculptor’s Works

Midland-based artist Dan Askew will exhibit his sculptures Feb. 14-March 11 in Angelo State University’s Carr Education-Fine Arts (EFA) Building, 2602 Dena Drive.

The exhibit, titled “The Larval Stage,” will be located in EFA Room 193. Askew will also present a gallery talk about his work at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, in EFA Room 101. Both the exhibit and gallery talk are open free to the public.

A lecturer in art and the visual arts coordinator at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, Askew has shown his work in numerous regional and national exhibitions.
