Student Assistant (Serials/Acquisitions)
General computer knowledge, dependable, detail oriented and energetic. Knowledge of various office equipment and previous library work experience is a plus.
Retrieve and process all library mail, process all newspapers and periodicals, bindery processing, data entry, shifting periodicals as needed, keeping periodicals in order to assist patron use, any special projects which may arise and other duties as assigned. Position requires full range of motion including but not limited to standing, sitting, bending, twisting, pushing and or pulling book carts up to 300 pounds.
*This is not a Work-Study Program position*
Monday- Friday: 8am- 5pm. afternoon’s preferred. Up to 20 hours per week. Applicant will need to be able to work during the summer and most breaks.
Undergraduate- $8.25/Hr. and Graduate student- $8.95/Hr.
