Dalrymple Stories in Texas 5 X 5

June 16, 2014

Dr. Terry Dalrymple, professor of English, has five stories included in a new anthology of short stories by Texas writers from Stephen F. Austin State University Press, Texas 5 X 5, and edited by Laurie Champion.

These interconnected stories share characters, a Texas setting, imagery, or style. Many share direct plot connections. Reminiscent of a story cycle by a single author, the fictional pieces in this composite anthology by five of the best writers in the Lone Star State resonate with meaning built up across, as well as within, the individual works. The result is a new and unique kind of reading experience.
