Dr. Jeff Schonberg, professor of English, has been selected to serve as a peer review panelist for the National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowships program.

He will meet with other panelists in the area of Communication, Rhetoric, and Linguistics in Washington, D.C. in August of this year.

The NEH Fellowships Program supports research undertaken by affiliated and unaffiliated scholars working in all areas of the humanities.

Dr. Schonberg is the first scholar selected from Angelo State University in the last twenty-years to serve as a NEH peer reviewer.
