ASU Office to Host Passport Fair

In celebration of “Passport Day in the U.S.A.,” Angelo State University’s Passport Office will host a Passport Fair on Saturday, March 27, in the Center for International Studies (CIS).

The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 27 and is open to the public. The CIS Passport Office is located in the new East Office Annex at 1825 S. Johnson St. Anyone needing a passport or passport card is encouraged to attend.

The ASU Passport Office provides all the services available at the U.S. Post Office, including photos, applications, processing and renewals. Fees in the ASU office are also the same as those at the Post Office.

To apply for a passport or passport card, applicants must provide a certified copy of their birth certificate, an official government-issued photo ID and two color passport-size photos.

All U.S. citizens must present a valid passport book when entering or re-entering the United States by air. U.S. citizens entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry must present a passport book, passport card or other travel documents approved by the U.S. government.
