Lovely Jewelry and Beautiful Apparel

January 01, 2015

Morgan is a full time student, works for a ranch and owns and operates her own online ladies’ jewelry/apparel store.  The business was going well, but she wanted to take it to another level.

Morgan needed capital to purchase inventory and her lender recommended she come to the center. She met with Advisor Paul Howard of the Angelo State University • Small Business Development Center. Paul suggested she write a business plan and went over with her in detail about the process. He also discussed the need to market her product and how important good record keeping is. Morgan says, “The SBDC was awesome help, very attentive and professional.”

Morgan not only has her online store but is now traveling to trade shows in and around the Concho Valley. Chica Chula helped the economy by retaining one job.
