ASU Woodwind Chamber Ensemble Concert Set for Nov. 18

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the EFA Buildings Eldon Black Recital Hall and is open free to the public.
The ASU Clarinet Choir, directed by Dr. Timothy Bonenfant, ASU associate professor of music, will feature works, including Gordon Jacobs Wind in the Reeds: IV. Ballet Russe; Eric Whitacres Sleep, arranged by Bonenfant; and Armando Chick Coreas Childrens Songs No. 5 and No. 7, also arranged by Bonenfant. Also on the program are Maurice Ravels Mother Goose Suite: I. Sleeping Beautys Pavane, IV. Conversations Between the Beauty and the Beast, and III. Little Miss Ugly Face, Empress of the Pagodas.
The ASU Flute Choir, directed by Dr. Constance Kelley, assistant professor of music, will perform William Byrds Sellingers Round, Johann Sebastian Bachs Toccata and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozarts The Marriage of Figaro.
In addition, the ASU Woodwind Quintet, directed by Dr. Jeff Womack, assistant professor of music, will perform Charles Gounods Funeral March of a Marionette and Gioacchino Rossinis The Barber of Seville.
