Dr. Huckaby’s primary research interest involves prevention of injury in the active population through education and activity modification. Her long term goal is to develop effective screening programs to identify athletes that are predisposed to injury based on current biomechanics. 

Dr. Teresa Huckaby was a clinical instructor for the Department of Physical Therapy and was hired as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Fall 2015. 

Her primary research interest involves prevention of injury in the active population through education and activity modification. Her long term goal is to develop effective screening programs to identify athletes that are predisposed to injury based on current biomechanics. 

She received her DPT from Temple University in May 2012 and MPT from Angelo State University in December 2006. She also received the Outstanding Clinical Instructor Award from Angelo State University in 2014.
