Dr. Kelly Moore

Experience

Dr. Moore received his B.S. in Physical Therapy in 1989 from Southwest Texas State University; he achieved his Masters of Business Administration from Angelo State University in 2000, and his Certification as a Wound Specialist from the American Board of Wound Management in 2004. Dr. Moore then went on to complete his tDPT from Texas Tech University in 2012. He has experience as a clinical instructor, and clinical coordinator in the many facilities he has managed. He received the Clinical Manager of the Year award from San Angelo Community Medical Center in 2007, and was Angelo State University’s Outstanding Guest Lecturer of the Year for the University’s P.T. Program, also in 2007. Dr. Moore has taught the wound care section of the acute care course since 2004.

Dr. Moore has also served as a member of Angelo State University’s Physical Therapy Clinical Advisory Board for Clinical Education and more recently the Physical Therapy Professional Advisory Board.

Dr. Moore currently practices in the skilled nursing, acute care and outpatient settings, but has experience clinically and managerially in a variety of settings, including inpatient rehab and home health.  Dr. Moore teaches primarily in the acute care area of the program and also assists teaching the management portion of the curriculum.
