Faculty Advisor
Dr. Ross Dawkins grew up in Midland, TX, received a B.S. in Chemistry from Abilene Christian University and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin. He has taught at ASU since 1970. He is a Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry. He has been chairman of the Faculty Council and presently is chairman of the Institutional Review Board. His research interests involve heavy metals in fish and crustaceans and birds plus bird population and distribution analysis. He has served on the Health Professions Advisory Committee for many years.
