Professional Advisor
Mary Vesper has been with the Center for Academic Excellence as an academic advisor since October 2007. She has over 10 years of teaching and coaching experience at all levels. She previously worked in Athletic Academic Services and has experience working with/developing Academic Retention Programs at Texas Tech University, University of Central Florida and Florida State University for at risk student athletes. She is continuing work on her diagnostician certification.
She is ABD in Education from FSU, has a MS in Special Education from Nova Southeastern University and a BS in Exercise and Sport Sciences from the University of Florida, where she was a collegiate athlete in Track. Lars, her husband, has been a firefighter for the Air Force for over 26 years and has been a member of the San Angelo community since 1993.
