Joey J. Erickson

English and Modern Languages

Angelo State University is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Erickson to the College of Arts and Sciences. He will begin his duties in the Department of English and Modern Languages fall 2011.

Joe specializes in new media writing processes, pedagogies, and research methodologies.  His current interests include context sensitive website development processes and website assessment methodologies, both of which feature prominently in his dissertation entitled “Designing and Maintaining Rhetoric and Composition Program Websites: An Empirical Study and a Heuristic Model.”

Over the past three years, Joe has served as the weblog editor and the design editor for the academic journal Computers and Composition Online, and he now serves as a senior editor for the journal. 

Joe received his PhD in Rhetoric and Composition from Bowling Green State University in 2011.
