John D. Kellermeier
Angelo State University is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. John Kellermeier to the College of Science and Engineering. He will begin his duties as assistant professor of Animal Science in the Department of Agriculture Fall 2016.
Dr. Kellermeier specializes in meat science and muscle biology with research interest in fresh meat processing, processed meat characteristics, and carcass traits related to growth and nutrition.
Dr. Kellermeier received the Angelo State University Distinguished CARR Research Scholar Awards, 2004, and the Texas Tech University San Antonio Livestock Exposition Endowed Chair Outstanding Graduate Student, 2007.
Dr. Kellermeier received his Ph.D. from Texas Tech University May 2008.
