Requirements for certain degrees may specify a particular core course. For example:

  • B.B.A. degrees require BCIS 1305 as the Computer Literacy course.

In addition to Core Curriculum Requirements, certain degrees require additional courses that extend beyond the limit of the core curriculum. For example:

  • B.B.A. degrees require six (6) hours of Economics.
  • B.S. degrees require more than eight (8) hours of Science.
  • B.A. degrees require three (3) hours of Humanities (sophomore English literature) and an additional three (3) hours of English (additional sophomore literature), as well as Philosophy 2301, 2311 or 2321; History 2331 or 2331; German 2372; French 2372; or Honors 2301.
