Kevin Lambert is Dean of the College of Liberal and Fine Arts and Professor of Music at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. Prior to his time at ASU, he served as Director of Choral Activities and Chair of the Department of Music at The University of Tennessee at Martin. He also taught at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota and in public schools in Arizona and California
He received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Choral Literature and Performance from the University of Colorado, Boulder, the Master of Music degree in Choral Performance from California State University, Fullerton, and the Bachelor of Music Education degree from Northern Arizona University.
He is active as a choral clinician and tenor soloist. He has conducted such major works as the Brahms Requiem, Handel's Messiah, and the Mozart Requiem. He was a Regional Finalist in the Upper Midwest Division of the Metropolitan Opera Auditions. In 2004, he sang at the International Music Festival in Hirosaki, Japan. In his spare time he enjoys reading historical fiction and playing racquetball.
