The above professional plan meets all core curriculum and Bachelor of Arts degree requirements. The B.A. degree with a major in Music requires a minimum of 120 semester credit hours, a minimum of 42 advanced (junior and senior level) semester credit hours, and a minimum of 30 semester credit hours in residence (24 of which must be at the advanced level). 24 of the last 30 hours required to complete this degree must be taken in residence.

Departmental Requirements

Successful completion of sophomore upper-level exam, concert/recital attendance, and participation in an ensemble during all semesters enrolled are required by the Department of Visual and Performing Arts.
