Undergraduate Degree Programs
Bachelor of Science:Biology major with supporting concentration in chemistry. Students pursuing this degree plan are usually interested in seeking general employment following graduation or in applying to medical school (includes optometry, podiatry) dental school, or graduate school.Bachelor of Science: Ecology and Evolutionary Biology major with multiple discipline minor. Students pursuing this degree plan are usually interested in employment or graduate studies in the areas of organismal biology, ecology or evolutionary biology.
Bachelor of Science: Biology major with secondary level teacher certification in biology and the supporting concentration. This degree is designed for students planning to teach Life Sciences at the 8-12 grade levels.
Bachelor of Science: Medical Technology major with supporting concentrations in biology and chemistry. This degree is designed for the student who is planning a career in medical technology. Following the successful completion of this program, the student is prepared to take a national registry examination.
Course Offerings: The Department of Biology offers 36 different undergraduate course offerings in biology and 7 in medical technology. Course offerings are listed in the ASU Course Selection Catalog.
