CLS Details
To register for the clinical laboratory science courses during your senior year, you must complete three years of the CLS degree program with a grade point average of no less than 2.5 overall and with at least a 2.5 GPA in biology and chemistry.
Students must also be recommended for the clinical laboratory science courses by the head of the Department of Biology and must be accepted by the hospital at which the student plans to intern.
Students are eligible to apply to any hospital that has an affiliation agreement with ASU. Admission requirements for each of the hospitals differ, so it is important for students interested in a clinical laboratory science degree to contact the CLS advisor as soon as possible to discuss admission policies. Regular student conferences with this advisor are essential.
