Accreditation of Business Degree Programs

All business degree programs offered by the College are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). ACBSP is a leading specialized accreditation association for business education supporting, celebrating and rewarding teaching excellence.

Angelo State University is also a member of AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), which connects educators, students, and business to achieve a common goal: to create the next generation of great leaders. Synonymous with the highest standards of excellence since 1916, AACSB provides quality assurance, business education intelligence, and professional development services to over 1,500 member organizations and more than 785 accredited business schools worldwide. AACSB’s mission is to foster engagement, accelerate innovation, and amplify impact in business education.

As of January 2017, the College of Business is also actively involved in the process of attaining initial business accreditation from AACSB. This is a multi-year process which can be expected to be completed within the next 5 years.
