College of Business
The College of Business offers both undergraduate and master’s level degree programs in business through the Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance or the Department of Management and Marketing. In addition, the College offers the opportunity for ASU students with any major to participate in an award-winning US Air Force ROTC program through the Department of Aerospace Studies.
Academic Program Offerings
The College offers a variety of undergraduate degree programs leading to a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA):
- Finance (including a Financial Planning option)
- International Business
- Management Information Systems
Master’s degrees offered by the College include:
- Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The Department of Aerospace Studies also offers a non-business minor in Leadership Studies that can supplement any ASU undergraduate major, including any of the BBA majors listed above.
Accreditation of Business Degree Programs
All business degree programs offered by the College are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). ACBSP is a leading specialized accreditation association for business education supporting, celebrating and rewarding teaching excellence.
Air Force ROTC Detachment 847
Open to all ASU undergraduate majors, the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program offered by the Department of Aerospace Studies provides superb leadership training that can lead to a commission as a second lieutenant with the US Air Force upon graduation.
ASU Small Business Development Center
The ASU Small Business Development Center (SBDC) plays a crucial role in fostering the growth and success of small businesses in the 10-county region surrounding San Angelo which comprises its service area. The SBDC also provides opportunities for ASU business students to attain real world experience working with SBDC clients to launch or improve their small business.
Center for Student Success
The College of Business created the Center for Student Success as part of a university-wide initiative to promote student success by providing better service to our students. CSS staff advisors are more than just academic advisors; they also offer valuable advice about all campus services and resources available to College of Business students.
