Executive Director

Dr. Susan L. Neste earned a B.A. and a M.A. in English from the University of North Dakota, where she taught English Composition and worked as a Writing Specialist in the University Writing Center. She also worked as a part-time faculty member at Park University, where she taught English Composition, Creative Writing, Technical and Business Communications, and Introduction to Film Studies. She was promoted to the Director of the University Learning Center at the University of North Dakota. While serving as Director, she earned her Ph.D. in Educational Administration, specializing in Higher Education.

She was recruited to Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, where she served as Director of the Academic Success Center. At Wayne State University she supervised the following offices: Tutorial Program, Supplemental Instruction, Reading and Study Skills Program, Career Development, University Summer Institute, and Disability Support Services.

She moved to Angelo State University in December 2004 as Director of the Office of Academic Advising.
