Seminar Program
Our department coordinates a seminar program with our American Chemistry Society (ACS) club. Speakers are invited on campus to discuss a variety of topics ranging from research to graduate school to career opportunities. Speakers usually give their talk during the ACS meeting but on occasion talk at other times in order to accommodate their schedule.

For the 2004-2005 academic year the primary focus of our seminar program is going to be on careers in chemistry. Below are the speakers that have been confirmed or are tentative for this year.

Directions to the Chemistry Department from the Airport:
- Leaving the airport, take a right.
- Continue down this road (Knickerbocker) for 4.5 miles.
- On your left there will be a Whataburger and a La Quinta. You will go over Loop 306 (Continuing on Knickerbocker)
- Continue down Knickerbocker until you hit Johnson (~1 mile). There is a Subway and Insurance Agency on your left a little before Johnson.
- Take a left on Johnson. Continue on Johnson (~0.9 miles) until you come to Dena. There is a church and elemntary school on your right a little before Dena.
- Take a left on Dena and the first parking lot on your right is the Cavness building parking lot.
