Each year, ASU’s College of Education seeks students who are enrolled in the College of Graduate Studies to work as graduate assistants. Graduate assistantships are staff appointments without fixed terms. Graduate assistantships generally require a 17.5-hour work week. More information concerning the position may be obtained from the graduate dean’s office, including details about selection criteria and work responsibilities.

Applicants must submit:
- Application for the Assistantship
- For first time appointment, submit a Criminal History Record Check Authorization Form.
- Three letters of recommendation (must state that you would make a good graduate assistant)
*Applications will not be processed until regular admission into an ASU master’s degree program has been given. All graduate students who are awarded assistantships must be enrolled in the College of Graduate Studies during the terms of their appointments.
