Dr. Fritz Leifeste

Dr. Fritz Leifeste

Dr. Leifeste received his Bachelor of Science degree from Angelo State University with a major in health/physical education and a minor in biology. He later became certified in mathematics and driver education. Dr. Leifeste taught math, biology, earth science, 6th grade social studies, 7th grade Texas history, and physical education (9 years).

Dr. Leifeste received his Master of Education degree in administration from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. He received his superintendent Certificate from Sul Ross State University.

He received his Doctor of Education degree from Texas Tech University, where he began his current research in school culture and school change.

At Angelo State University, Dr. Leifeste continues his research in school culture and school change with an emphasis on lasting change in a short period of time. He works with surrounding schools and assisting them in implementing change and improving school culture.

Dr. Leifeste shares his research with public schools and professional organizations by making presentations at the local, regional, state, national, and international levels. He also contributes to state and national publications.
