Korea Global Preparation Program
ASU Korea Global Preparation Program
We are pleased to announce that Angelo State University and YBM in Korea have signed an agreement to create a special admission and recruitment program for future university students from the Republic of Korea. Known as ASU Korea Global Preparation Program, we are seeking students whose dreams of a university education transcend global boundaries.
Known for our warm West Texas hospitality and safe campus, Angelo State University ranks high in the most prestigious list of universities and was selected for the fifth consecutive year by the Princeton Review as one of the “Best 378 Colleges” in the United States.
Other outstanding recognition and awards include being named to:
- 2013-2014 BestColleges.com list of the 50 Best Colleges for Intramural Sports
- 2012-13 top 50 Online Graduate Programs in the U.S.
- 2013 ASU Houston Harte University Center as one of the 25 Most Amazing Student Union Buildings in the U.S. by BestCollegeReviews.org, an independent online college and university ranking guide, and was the only Texas institution in the top 25.
Angelo State University also provides an exceptional support system for its students. Our beautiful campus has over eight hundred faculty and staff members whose primary job is to make our students feel welcome on campus. Students live in modern apartments on campus, participate in many recreational and sports activities and are involved in numerous clubs and honorary societies. For our Global Preparation Program, our Center for International Studies manages many initiatives, including a host family program, cultural excursions and the Korean Students Association to help students adjust to studying in an American university.
This agreement is part of a broader memorandum with all the institutions of the Texas Tech University System to create special opportunities for student from the Republic of Korea.
