Study Abroad Programs
The Center for International Studies offers several study abroad options to help you enrich your ASU college experience. You may choose to study abroad during the summer terms or choose one of our semester or academic year programs.
We offer programs in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Malawi, Poland, Spain, and United Kingdom. Study abroad programs are open to students of all majors.
Summer programs are ideal for students who are studying abroad for the first time. These programs last about a month and feature courses taught by ASU faculty. ASU faculty members who are experienced in directing study abroad programs accompany students.
Semester programs are a good option for students who want to study abroad for three to four months. These programs offer a greater selection of coursework, and students are not accompanied by faculty directors. Skills in languages other than English may be required.
Academic year programs allow students to study abroad for a year. These programs are similar to the semester programs in all aspects other than duration. Skills in languages other than English may be required.
