FLC Name: Interdisciplinary Humanities

Purpose: The Interdisciplinary Humanities FLCo-op supports the development of interdisciplinary studies and pedagogy at Angelo State University, sponsoring pedagogical presentations on strategies to integrate recent trends in interdisciplinary studies in existing courses as well as sharing ideas for developing future special topic courses in interdisciplinary studies (Ethnic Studies, Film Studies, Texas and Borderland Studies, and a future program in Gender Studies). Members meet for presentations and informal discussion at the CITR at least once each semester, and they share ideas in an online forum.
